I was invited to the business class event in Dublin today, but for some reasons, I can’t make it.. But Jonny from TheDesignAir was there and share some live pictures with me, now I’m able to introduce the new Aer Lingus Business Class today.
In August, Aer Lingus shows some details of the new concept but today was the first day to saw it live. The new Aer Linigus Business Class was developed together with Thompson Aero. The new seat will featuring the Airbus A330 Long Haul fleet, at the first time with a fully flat bed. Until March 2015, the „renovation“ should be finally finished.
The A330 will config with a 1-2-2 configuration and will featuring up to 30 seats in the new premium cabin. More than 90 percent of the premium seats will have direct aisle access.
The seat pitch will be between 116cm up to 125cm and offers sic more seats in the Airbus A330-300. If you like to relay, the seat could be transformed to an 2m long and 56cm wide bed.
Every seat will offer its own workdesk, power socket and USB socket. The 16“ screen will show you the new entertainment system with more than fifty movies, games, flight path ans more to entertain you during the flight.
If you traveling in Business Class, Aer Lingus offers Wifi in the air free of charge.
After march 2015, if the new seats will be on all flight to and from the US, I’ll use Aer Lingus for a trip and you could read the full review here in my blog.
For now, many thanks to Jonny from TheDesignAir for sharing the pictures.
